Tanzania (/ˌtænzəˈniːə/,Swahili: [tanzaˈni.a]), officially the United Republic of Tanzania (Swahili: Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania), is a country in East Africa within the African Great Lakes region. It borders Uganda to the north; Kenya to the northeast; Comoro Islands at the Indian Ocean to the east; Mozambique and Malawi to the south; Zambia to the southwest; and Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, is in northeastern Tanzania.

Swahili is a native language spoken in East Africa, but enough people also speak English. Travel to Tanzania is one of the most famous holiday destinations in Africa. People recognise Tanzania because of many things like Mount Kilimanjaro, the Great Migration and more. But there is more. Tanzania has a variety of national parks from small to large. There are a total of 22 national parks in Tanzania. Each park has it’s own character which makes Safari in Tanzania unique. However, many people like to combine and visit Zanzibar. You can also combine this with a visit of Zanzibar.
